|Subject: Re: Prague|
Wow--there is someone further north than me! We are in northwestern BC and I thought WE were farther than nowhere (lol). Our summers are short, but we have long days now--it was still light at 10:00 pm tonight and we are not even at the 21st. We are only a 4 1/2 hour drive from Hyder, Alaska. You're probably up to the reading outside at midnight without a light phase, eh? We were in Dawson City, YT one year (1982 or 83) on the longest day of the year. I don't think the sun even went all the way down.
I can't tell you much about Prague since I'm taking my first trip to Europe this September and that city isn't on our list, but I can tell you that you will need more than just your passport to get into the country. I believe Canadians also need a visa. If you are getting a Eurail pass, it will not cover the Czech Republic. You may already know this stuff, but I've been asking so many questions that it feels good to actually give someone an answer!
