Subject: Re: Compression Socks |
Hi,
Compression socks are great for flights and for your daily walking. Over-the-counter pairs are okay BUT the professionally measured ones are much more supportive and long lasting. I need a doctor's prescription and get them at a medical supply house. The good part is that my health insurance pays almost all the bill. They are $70 some dollars per pair and I am allowed 2 pairs per year. The ones I get are knee highs BUT the toes are open. Toenails can shred even the strongest of socks and these are ideal to prevent that! Harlene |
