|Subject: Things you wish you did not bring|
Dear Ed and all Ziners:
I believe that the camera is one of the most important things to bring, but this thread has got me thinking about the worst or most useless thing ever brought on a trip. I am going to have to think about this one, but I do remember that in the early stages of our travel, Jan and I bought these wheeled suitcases from Samsonite. They were about as large as a steamer trunk (some exaggeration, but not far from the truth). Our companions were from England (who have traveled around the world with one small suitcase and a carryon) and they let us know that those ballistic nylon refrigerators were not designed for efficient travel. They were right and we have since downsized, but those suitcases could hold enough clothing for our entire neighborhood.
What has been your worst or most useless travel item?
