|Subject: Northwest Ireland|
Hello fellow Ziners,
Many of you have been to Ireland several times, so I know I'll get some good advice.
We visited the south part of the Republic from April 18-May 5 this year and had a wonderful time. The tourist spots weren't busy and driving wasn't difficult. However, friends just got back the other day and they had the opposite experience.
We loved Ireland and would like to go back, but this time go north from Shannon, through Mayo, Sligo, and Donegal, so I was wondering if this area is off the tourist track enough that we could go at the end of May to early June and still have a relaxing holiday.
It is my dream to go back to the Burren area when many wildflowers are in bloom.
Has anyone done this?
