Too right, the markets of Mexico! The market in Vera Cruz is a rabbit warren of shops stuffed in a building obviously too small for the numbers of vendors. The fish mongers enthusiastically demo the freshness of their offerings by shoving them right at your face. Tough for a vegetarian to endure, but I got into the joy of the moment anyway. And the stall with the old holy cards is one of my all-time faves. Why would anyone want to shop at WalMart?
