I just took a quick look at your cruise schedule. The advantage is that it covers a lot of territory and minimizes Visa problems with Russia. I think you certainly have enough time in Copenhagen and the SAS is very centrally located also. The only drawback I can see is not much time in St. Petersburg. If you are a Art lover like myself, two days is hardly enough to even touch that glorious city. I have a travelogue on St. Petersburg which I believe in TheTravelzine files which may shed some insight on what I mean. Cruising is a nice way to travel.
Again it is just an observation and let me know if you have any specific questions on St. Petersburg as I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge.
