Subject: Re: France itinerary
Hi Nancy, I agree with Peter about trying to stay in one spot at least two nights at a time. The two times we stayed just one night I felt too rushed. Two nights in one place lets you relax a bit (and get some laundry done!)

As for must sees in France. My top "must-see" was Chenonceau in the Loire Valley. I had wanted to visit there since High School and it was just as wonderful as I imagined!

Another place we discovered was a region they call "Swiss Normandie." We, unfortunately, only stayed one night in this area so didn't get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. It's roughly the area between the Loire and Normandy (north of Le Mans & Alecnon). We stayed at the Moulin du Vey in Clecy (about 30 minutes south of Caen) and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was set right on the Orne River and there were places to rent canoes and paddleboats. Just a pretty area I'd like to explore more one day (and an area I hadn't really heard much about).

Enjoying watching your trip come together! Jennie in Atlanta
