Hi Pat and other Ziners:
When my eldest daughter was living in Spain, the one thing she craved was Skippy or JIF peanut butter. There were no substitutes available in Madrid. From Boston I tried to get some delivered from the nearest Air Force Base, but to no avail. Despite dire warnings I slipped a few jars into a DHL package of clothing, but those wiley customs agents figured that one out (the clothing arrived sans the peanut butter). Finally, a paralegal in my office decided to vacation in Spain and she was going to Madrid. She arrived unannounced at my daughter's door with two large JIF containers simply stating that she was a courier from me. My daughter shared the contents with everyone in the apartment building. It was such a hit and I always wondered why it was not available there.
