With all due respect to fellow Ziners, two days is not enough to take the train to Florence, or really even Siena, see anything and get back. Joel's suggestion of Orvieto is good. Have a look at a good map, look at the rail lines, and choose a place only a couple of hours from Rome. Touring Company of Italy maps are among the best. Of course, those of us who have spent a lot of time in Tuscany and love it have a tendency to think north from Rome, but it is not the only direction!
