I live in Nashville and want to warn you that the Opryland
hotel is not really near most of the sites you listed for
your visit. Of the sites listed the Hermitage is closest
and the cab ride would not break the bank. It is a very
nice home and the guides usually do a good job of telling
the story of President Jackson's life.
Someone else posted that you could just explore the hotel. It is an amazing hotel. People are constantly getting lost in it.
If you are a shopper, the Opry Mills mall is right next door and they shuttle you to the mall from the hotel. HUGE mall. It is one of the factory outlet types, but the bargins can vary.
