Subject: The Travel Industry and 9/11
Dear Adam:

No! I am not afraid of traveling in these post-9/11 days. Since then, I have traveled to Antarctica, Chile, the Netherlands, China, Tibet, and Japan. In November I am going to India and Nepal. Other trips are in the planning stages.

I remember times in the past decades when terrorists were also hijacking planes for hostages or planting bombs. I still traveled! If I waited for absolutely no negative world events, I would be old and infirm and have never gone anywhere.

I must admit that since many do fear traveling, destinations are less crowded with tourists. That is a plus for the less fearful traveler. Have fun!
