Subject: Re: Summer homes of rich and famous in Northeastern USA

Several years ago I toured Kykuit, the Rockefeller estate overlooking the Hudson River in Westchester County just north of New York City. It was fantastic! The Rockefellers were prodigious art collectors and patrons of the arts. Their home reflects this passion. The grounds are beautifully landscaped as well. Kykuit was definitely worth the $20 admission price.

If you go, by all means also visit the nearby Union Church of Pocantico Hills which contains stunning stained glass windows by Henri Matisse and Marc Chagall (courtesy of the Rockefellers).
