|Subject: Puerto Vallarta|
We are just beginning to organise our Mexican Holiday for early next year. The idea is to fly into Puerto Vallarta and take a few days there before heading off to Guadalajara and the Colonial cities, touring around by bus and flying home from Guadalajara about 18 days later. (John, I'm going to be taking you up on your offer for help on itinerary and details when I'm a little more organised. so I hope you won't mind - I've been re-reading your reports of the area).
Initially however I'm a bit concerned as to whether We'll be able to book a non-inclusive not too expensive place to stay in PV for only 3 or 4 nights in the height of the season.
I've checked the guide books and looked up a few places, most of which have no rooms available (probably sold to tour companies, I suppose).
I know we have a few Ziners who love Puerto Vallarta so I hope that one of you might perhaps have some ideas of where we should try.
I found a web site for Puerto de Luna Suites which didn't look bad and rates were $83.00. Other spots from Trip Advisor and Fodors etc. are Hotel Molina de Agua , Los Cuatro Vientos and Dulce Vida.
Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. We feel we should probably not book any non-refundable flights until this is sorted out. Many thanks.
Best regards, Judy Abbotsford BC
