In the case of insurance, here again there are variations by country, by insurance company, and by rental car company. Check with your insurance company about your coverage overseas and then with the rental car company to find out if your credit card insurance will be accepted with your waiver in the destination country. (Be aware that your card may be debited until such time as the undamaged car is returned to the rental car company.)
