Last year Rebbi and a host of other Ziners held a mini-GTG in Providence at Al Forno in Providence. It was superb. After dinner (as I recall it was sometime around 9 to 10 p.m.) Jan and I took a stroll along the river to see the Waterfire. I believe it was the last one of the year. It was 30 degrees F, but the crowd, the gondolas, the music and the crackling fires in the middle of the river made it a scene to remember. Rebbi spoke of the crackling of the wood and smell of the burning fires. I second that; it was memorable.
