Subject: Re: "been there, done that, not going back!"
Hello Ziners,

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. My experience of the Holy Land was that the more holy a site, the darker, smokier, gaudier and more carved up by religious factions it would be. Holy Sepulchre was the epitome of this pattern and thus utterly depressing. I should clarify that this pattern seemed to apply to Christian holy sites; there are obviously holy sites for several other faiths in this part of the world and I couldn't say whether the pattern holds true for them as I didn't visit as many. Hopefully they've avoided that particular pitfall.

I've only been to Las Vegas once, and briefly, but found nothing there that made me want to go back.
