I can almost see the controversy. George and I argued this one too and if you have nothing to hide, what's the big deal??
But, after reading the article, one quote says it all for me:
Since the data will be classified as secret, a passenger rated as a possible terrorist threat may never find out why, or be able to correct a possible error in identification.
I would hate to be the one rated as a security threat and unable to get a seat on an airplane when I've done nothing to earn that rating and not be able to rectify the data.
But, that's only my opinion.
