Subject: Re: Writing Travelogues |
Hi Barbara,
My travelogue writing methods are very undisciplined. I find the whole process somewhat painful with the result being fewer and fewer travelogues written. When I do write them it is after I've returned home. During the trip I just don't have sufficient time to keep a journal let alone put together a travelogue. I spend my time preparing the next day's adventures and relaxing (after all I am on vacation). What I do do is take notes and keep plenty of receipts, brochures, tickets, etc. Inevitably these end up in a scrapbook along with the photos I've taken. Later, after I've returned home I use these things to help jog my memory if I choose to write a travelogue. John in San Diego |
