Yes, the no a/c is the dealbreaker. Maybe I'll go back to their website and email them. But they did make a statement about being in tune with the environment up there so the rooms only had fans and no a/c. If things have changed I'm sure they would have updated the website. But it doesn't hurt to double check.

Okay, twist my arm... maybe I'll take Gavin up on his kind offer. We've seen the Sydney basics, so now there's more to explore! :-)

We have taken the train ride to Kuranda and the gondola ride. Fun but don't need to do it again. I'll check into the possibility of staying a night in Cairns and see if it fits into our schedule. Thanks for the info.
