Hi, Ziners - I think that when most of us travel to some of the larger
world cities, we tend to visit landmarks and might sometimes miss some
hidden jewels. Have you found some special places in larger cities that
may have gone unrecognized or unnoticed by guidebooks, etc?
One particular spot I discovered in London was Little Venice and it was quite by accident. My mother and I stayed at a bed and breakfast near the Warwick Street tube station and the owner mentioned it to us. It's quite a delightful spot with people living on houseboats complete with gardens on a year round basis on a series of canals.
I thought this would make a great thread. Please let us in on any discoveries you have made.
