Years ago there was a book named Blue Highways or something akin to that. My last trip would be to follow the philosophy of that book, i.e., drive all secondary roads throughout the U.S. and Europe. If I liked a place, then I would stay there for a while moving on only when I exhausted the enchantment of a new place and new friends. As Mark said, this trip should only take 30 or 40 years, but think of the wealth of experience. Of course, Jan would have to see the children and grandchildren on a regular basis, so we would have to have them flown into the nearest airport. Did anyone say price is no object?
