Subject: Internet Access |
Hi Ziners:
I have a question about Internet access while traveling abroad. I used to use Earthlink's satellite access, but about 6 months ago I shifted to Comcast cable. The advantage to Earthlink is that there was a dial up access point everywhere. The disadvantage to Comcast is that you cannot dial into their service. I expect to be in places where cybercafes and local access may be limited, so I would like to be able to dial into the net. Sprint and AT& T have pre-paid access, but unfortunately it is limited to the US. I have an inquiry pending at BTNet, but there has been no response as of yet. The area I am interested in at the moment is Scotland. Any ideas? Tom in Carlisle packing at the moment. |
