Subject: Re: Honeymoon in Canada |
Hi Gayle and John,
John, you make a good case for the Rockies but it would require a flight from NY state for a short honeymoon. Also Gayle is spending a week in a timeshare in Tremblant. Gayle, could you tell us a bit more about what you would be looking for? You say that you aren't a city person but neither Montreal nor Quebec City are country. Some people are interested in active holidays (sports, hiking, etc.), gourmet, cultural (museums and historic places), night life, shopping and antiquing, farm holidays, etc, Have you considered the Eastern Townships? Quaint small towns, rolling hills, sort of like Vermont, good food, antique shops. You could visit on your way from NY State.
