St. Pierre and Miquelon are off the coast of Newfoundland and are
departements de France. So they officially belong to France. Perhaps
too far off the beaten course for the honeymooners but a small part of
France in North America.
I'd choose Quebec City over Montreal for this particular trip. Having grown up in Montreal, and going back every year, I'd say that QC is more romantic and defintely more Quebecois. Visitors to Montreal can speak English in any store and restaurant without feeling out of place. In Quebec City, the language of choice is French and it feels like a different place. Lucy in Toronto
