Subject: Re: Quebec City
Hi, Gayle and ziners,

I was just looking at my photo/scrapbook of my New England/Maritime Canada trip, as I was trying to remember the name of the beautiful spot outside Quebec City that I took a tour to. I believe you said you were going in October, which is when I was there. The fall foliage was amazingly beautiful, especially at Mont Tourbillon, which is a golf and ski resort on Ile d'Orleans at Lac Beauport. It's about a 15-minute drive from Quebec City. The golf resort is on top of a tall hill, overlooking the surrounding green golf course on rolling hills. Around and on the hills are the flaming colors of the trees. It was an amazing sight to me -- almost unreal -- the deep green against the reds and golds of the leaves. It is such a beautiful view that you don't want to leave. I gazed at it for a long time and took lots of photos.
