|Subject: Another Paris Flea Market|
While in Paris last month we discovered a new flear market that we hadn't been aware of, despite a pretty enthusiastic interest in the subject. It was fun, centrally located, small but with plenty of interesting items (we bought something, and what I collect is fairly hard to find) and friendly vendors. We stumbled on this quite by accident, when wandering about after visiting the Place du Palais Royale (disappointing) and a photo exhibit at the old Bibliotheque Nationale (great photo exhibits there, on two different trips; if you love photography, check it out. No charge the day we visited).
On the last Friday of every month, on the square in front of the Bourse, there is a monthly market. It was nice to visit a flea market in Paris that didn't require a long metro ride and a half day's excursion. The Bourse market can be covered quite nicely in an hour or so. There were about 40 vendors the day we were there.
If anyone goes there, I would love to hear your opinion.
