Subject: Re: CDG RER ticket machines

Not to sound too pessimistic, but you may simply have to wait in the line to buy your tickets from a live agent. I don't know of any source here in the States that will conveniently give you Euro coins, other than a friendly individual. Most banks will simply not handle foreign coins. But keep in mind that for two tickets, you'll also need #15,50 in coin (almost $18!), which is a lot of heavy change. They are obviously not making it easy for you at CDG.

First try and see if any of the self-service machines will take your credit card. If that fails, it's probably the ticket agents' line . . . or begging for spare change as I was reduced to, (it worked by the way.)
