What happens when you call the Far & Wide offices? Is anyone answering the phones? If so, find out if the trip has been taken over by another company and if they say yes, find out who, contact them and get everything in writing. Additionally, call the airlines and hotels you're booked into and make sure they have your name.
If it looks like the trip is cancelled, contact your credit card company immediately - via phone and in writing - and demand a credit for what you've charged. If you bought travel insurance, contact the insurance co also.
