|Subject: Re: Italy-Greece Ferries|
I took the ferry from Brindisi to Corfu and then to mainland Greece - a long time ago, in 1982.
There were two ferry companies, one Greek and one Italian. The Italian one was often on strike and very undependable. So, I stayed an extra day in Brindisi and took the Greek ferry. It was very crowded because of the striking Italians.
Brindisi is the main location for the chemical and oil industries of Italy. Rather industrial and not very attractive,at that time.
