Subject: More $$$ for bumped air travelers in EU |
Hi Ziners,
Europeans will be happy with this news. According to usatoday.com: Starting 2005, bumped passengers are entitled to increased compensation. Airlines will have to pay 600 euros for passengers refused boarding on flights over 3,500 kilometers, 400 euros for flights between 1,500 and 3,500 kilometers and 250 euros for shorter trips, roughly doubling current amounts. The new rules also include supplying food and hotel accommodation to passengers stranded at airports. http://tinyurl.com/soi8 Cheers! Linda |
