We visited the Askanischer-Hof Hotel http://www.askanischer-hof.de/ when we were in Berlin http://www.thetravelzine.com/40-40-berlin.htm and we thought we would consider it for a future visit.

It had a certain charm and an individuality that was appealing. But of course, without having stayed there, we can only give the hotel a qualified recommendation.
