|Subject: FYI Marriott Hotel NYC|
To all Ziners,
I learned from a business associate today that the Marriott Hotel, in New York City's theatre district, has a sign up on every floor of the hotel warning people that at peak theatre times, it can take as long as a half hour to get into an elevator.
Seems that there just aren't enough elevators for such a huge hotel, and people leaving their rooms at 7:30ish have missed the opening curtain, even though it's a 5 minute stroll to the theatre.
If you're coming to NYC and planning on going to the theatre on many of your nights here, or having 8:00PM dinner reservations, you should keep this inconvenience in mind when choosing a hotel.
