|Subject: The Great Loop|
Are any of you familiar with The Great Loop? It is a boat route in eastern North America which you can go from Canada to Florida and back again without having to retrace any part of your route. In October I took a boat from Cape Cod to St. Simons, Georgia using the Intercoastal Waterway, but for our return in the spring we want to go up through the heartland. Apparently you can do it without hitting the Mississippi, but information on the Ohio River seems to be sparse.
Does anyone know how to get from the Ohio River to Cape Cod (on the water and without portage)?
