Despite my girth I too like to run in the morning while traveling in Europe. My traveling companion and I have taken to wearing reflective running vests for the simple reason that it seems that there are not many runners on European roads, the drivers don't expect them and the vests are bright enough to alert oncoming drivers that there are a couple of crazy runners on the road.
