Subject: Re: Long flights |
Hi, Ziners:
I must be in the smallest minority of flyers: long flights don't require any activity planning, even on a 14+ hour trans-Pacific itinerary. I usually just barely manage to buckle up before I fall asleep, driving my companions crazy. No drugs, no ear plugs, no special preparations. And if I can swing an upgrade to business class, an even better sleep. It's probably because my normal life is unreasonably complicated & busy, especially the last few days before departure. I look forward to a few hours of no phones, no demands, no crises & nothing to do but wake up in time to get off the plane. And I'm off to Oz again in 16 days & already looking forward to blissful oblivion onboard. Gail In Eugene but never for long |
