Subject: Re: Low budget hotels in Vienna, Munich, Paris and London |
Hi Fernando
In Munich last June (2003) we stayed at the Hotel Hahn which was convenient to public transport, very clean, and seemed reasonably priced. We had an enormous family room in the attic plus an area below for the children. The breakfast was good and generous and they had free internet access in the foyer. We paid 139 euros per night for the 4 of us. In Paris we stayed a the Hotel Brighton which was very well located opposite the Tuilleries on the Rue de Rivoli and very near the metro. It was undergoing renovation and I assume our room was cheap as it was yet to be renovated. We had twin rooms plus one large bathroom. We paid 233 euros. We also stayed in an apartment in Paris for a fortnight - definitely better value. Paris seems to be expensive. We found the rooms in Munich (and elsewhere on our travels) were so much better and as you can see much cheaper. Regards Anne Canberra, Australia |
