|Subject: Re: Vancouver Dining|
Had to respond to this because we eat out all the time here in Seattle and numerous times in Vancouver as well as London,
Paris, Rome, Venice, Florence and more and the best restaurant
we have ever eaten in is Diva at the Met. An astounding (and expensive) experience.
If you go (you need reservations) have the tasting menu. Most
places a tasting menu is what the chef wants to give you. Here
you can have either 3 or 4 smaller versions of any entree on the menu. If you are a foodie like we are, this is pure bliss. A
chance to try pheasant, venison and so much more.
Also, they sell wine in flights here so you have a chance to sample a different wine with every course. WOW!
Worth the price and actually a great value with the exchange rate. Located in the Metropolitan Hotel right downtown across
the street from the Four Seasons. Tell any cab driver you want
Diva at the Met.
