|Subject: Re: Marco Island|
I have been to Marco Island twice during the last two years. March is a good time to visit. The temperature and humidity is not too bad (The day's hottest temperature is typically around mid eighties in March). March is the dry season so usually not much rain. I have swam only at South Beach. This beach is pleasant. The water was warm in March. Many people seem to enjoy walking along this beach during the morning. Some beaches are public but some beaches are private.
Marco Island is near the Everglades and a very large wetlands preserve. The opportunities for enjoying nature are numerous especially bird watching and boating. I can offer some suggestions if you are interested. I can suggest a few restaurants too on the island.
Hope this helps.
