Hi -
I second the recommendation of Sir John Soane's Museum. We went there for the first time in October. In addition to everything Frances already mentioned, I also very much enjoyed seeing John Soane's architectural drawings and plans, many of which were never used. Another great thing we did in that neighborhood was to take a London Walks tour called Legal & Illegal London. It starts at the Holborn station, goes by the John Soane Museum, and then into the Inns of Court. It was a fascinating tour and went into areas we never would have found on our own. Jamie Natick, MA |
