Pat,
Lots of other folks have answered this but I wanted to chime
in that when we were in
London in November, that station was closed more often than
open. Walked by it
twice a day for a week and saw it open only once. Major remodeling
was in progress.
And be careful of the Tottenham station (very nearby) as it
had its escaltor broken
down every day as well and we had to walk a 199 spiral staircase
to reach the bottom
level of trains. My wife has a bad knee and between this and
the Tower of London she
was limping for 2 days.
