Thank you for your response. I will have two and half days in
Copenhagen for sightseeing and am planning to take it easy.
My plan for going to North Zeland is to see some country scenery, and to visit either Hillerød/Frederiksborg or Helsingør/Kronborg. From what I read, Kronborg's tie to Shakespeare is questionable,
Shakespeare never saw the place, and that the castle is most
impressive from the outside but not much inside. On the other hand, Frederiksborg is the Danish Versailles, with rich display inside.
Are these descriptions more or less accurate?
