I have a comment to add to Donna's. Travel arrangements to get to the 'Learning Site' are Not Included in most of the Routes to

Learning and Elderhostel Packages. When you reach the location, all expenses are included, i.e., room, meals, lectures, excursions with the group.

I've taken one Elderhostel course in Victoria, BC, in 1999 (I think) and one Routes to Learning Course in St. Catharines, Ontario last summer. Stories of both trips are in my website.
