Subject: Re: France questions
Hello Nancy

last year I did a tour in France, staying mostly at B&B (gites ruraux or table d'hote in French). The usual breakfast didn't include any meat product, like bacon. I saw someone ask for eggs and get them, but we were never offered straightforwardly. The breakfast consisted of pastries (croissants), different breads (not toasts), butter and preserves, cereals, plus the usual hot beverages and juice. Nothing fancy, but always plenty of it. Of course the quality varies according to the owner's hosting skills, but that's something expected when you stay at a house. One final notice: be aware most if not all B&B in France take cash only. I'm not sure about the booking help question, I guess it's again up to the owner; you could just try, smile, play dumb and ask! Bye Paolo Trieste, Italy
