Hello Fellow Travelers:
In the northeast US this week it has been bitterly cold, schools have closed and the TV commentators are fueling wind chill reports as low as minus 110F (Okay, the top of Mt. Washington). As a result we are compelled to pursue more indoor activities and what should come to the forefront are movies. I just saw Gaudi Afternoon which is a great tour of Barcelona, but badly panned by the critics. I watched it for its location, Jan, look, we have been there! Actually, I rather enjoyed its bizarre story also, but don't judge me on that.
Nevertheless, what are your favorite travel movies, flicks, films, cinema, etc.? And why?
Tom in Carlisle warming up but ever so slowly.
