Reading all your suggestions really makes me green with
envy! I am one of those unfortunates who simply cannot read
on any moving vehicle without getting violently ill. For the
same reason, I cannot watch a movie, use a computer, or
write anything. For a retired teacher of literature and a
habitual reader, this is especially maddening.
Fortunately, all I have to do is get on any moving vehicle, and I can almost immediately fall asleep. In fact, on a plane I am usually asleep even before the take-off. I skip all meals on board, sleep straight through, and arrive at my destination rested and ready for a day's activity.
