Subject: Student Residences in London
Good morning Ziners and particularly Audrey - in 1997, we stayed in London in June in Wellington Hall which is part of King's College, London. It was 10 minutes from Parliament and close to all major transportation. It was also very quiet and right across from a nice park with a cricket pitch.

The address I have for them is:

King's Conference & Vacation Bureau King's College London, 3rd Floor, Strand Bridge House, Strand, London WC2R 1HH Telephone + 44 (0) 20 7848 1700 Fax + 44 (0) 20 7848 1717 Email vacations@ (remove the space after the @)

We stayed there from June 11-16 at the princely sum of 35 pounds per night which included a full English breakfast. Bathrooms were shared and there was also a communal kitchen. It's not fancy but it served our purposes.

You can also visit B.U.A.C. (British Universities Accommodation Consortium) online of which King's College is a member. King's College is also a member of the London Tourist Board and Convention Bureau.

The following website will let you do a venue search on university facilities country wide

or the next link will take you directly to King's College vacation info:

Hope this helps you in your search for reasonably priced accommodation. I leave for England on March 30th but have free accommodation with relatives for 14 nights, four of which are in London.
