|Subject: Re: Re: Iberia - Seville|
I don't really like piling on, but after a couple of trans-atlantic trips with Iberia, I vowed that I would never fly with them again. Seating was cramped, the airport personnel were either unavailable or rude, and the cabin attendants were even worse. I'm not sure if smoking is still allowed on these flights, but I remember one 10-hour nightmare, where no attempt was made to accommodate passengers requests for smoking or non-smoking seats, and the entire airplane essentially became a smoking lounge. The flight attendants couldn't have cared less, even seemed to cynically enjoy the general discomfort on board-- it gave them opportunity to yell at everybody!
I've spoken about Iberia with two friends of mine in Spain. Their opinion isn't much different from mine; they avoid it whenever possible.
