Hi Doug,
I'm not sure about videos being wiped by airport security (doubt
that it
would happen, though) BUT ....those UK videos might not be
'watchable' on a
US player. A few years ago a friend of my son's sent a number
of video
tapes (hockey games, etc) over to him in HK and we couldn't
watch them. The
UK (et al) and NA are on different systems. Many of the newer
players can
translate between the two but.....not all.
