|Subject: Re: travelling with a laptop|
My husband travels with a laptop and uses AOL to connent to
internet while on the road. As a matter of fact, this is
about the main reason he keeps his AOL account, for the
convenience while he is travelling.
You can get a list of AOL's local access number for the country you are visiting, and call the phone number geologically closest to your hotel. However the closest access number may still be a long-distance from your hotel, thus you will have to pay hotel's phone charge. AOL also charges a few dollars' connection fee every time he connects from Asia or Europe.
