Subject: Travelling glamourously? |
In the New York Times travel section there is an article about
the
glamorous portrayal of travel in the movies.
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/02/15/travel/15bpscreen.html Of course almost any facet of life can be found protrayed more glamorously in the movies, so I am not sure that this is a very useful point. However, the suggestion is also that in the good old days one could travel glamorously or perhaps at least gracefully and perhaps now it is not as easy. I suspect travelling gracefully might be a state of mind and perhaps along with that preparedness that all might not progress smoothly.
